Default Best Price I've seen so far.

http://shop3.outpost.com/product/495...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG

Guild Wars : NightFall Collector's Edition $65.88

subtotal: $65.88

US Shipping Calculations (Optional):
Ship Method Next Day Shipping : $9.64

Free shipping if you don't want it next day.

------------------------------------------------

Amazon wanted $69.99 + $16 for next day shipping and EBgames and Gamestop are the same offers, both charging $69.99 + $10 for next day shipping

I would get the package deal from EB/Gamestop, but they dont send the prerelease til the main game ships. I'll pick up the prerelease at a local store sometime this week if at all.

Hmm, another option, Walmart.com

Guild Wars: Nightfall Collector's Edition PC $59.82 Via 1-Day Shipping, should arrive by Friday,10/27/06

Standard Shipping $1.97
2- to 3-Day Shipping $8.97
1-Day Shipping $15.97

hefty 1 day shipping but makes up for it with low cost.

I'm glad the ritualist and assassin are gonna get skills and armor On the other hand, I'm not looking forward to farming 400,000+ faction again Chapter 4'll have what, 400 skills to unlock and +50 skills for every additional chapter?

Unless there's some seriously good-looking female mesmer armor (talking 15k noble-class here), I'll probably just wait for the PvP edition. Though if that rat can be capped... Mmmm...so tempting...

My problem with pretty much all the assassin armor are the claws/spike things that don't really look functional in combat. I agree. But I've come to accept that is just how GW likes them to look. And it's better than boring looking armor like FoW I suppose.

And I'm assuming that is a monk since they have all the other professions shown in that picture and it would be weird to have two warriors and no monk. Plus the armor has a lot of the similar features of monk armor.

I think this signet could come in really handy.

If the wording is correct, then this could be used for secondary profession spells too which may provide for some interesting builds. But like anything, only time will tell as you stated. The casting time and recharge will determine its usefulness.

nah it'll work out to be +25 skills per chapter for each class. Thats 350, 200 of that goes to dervish and paragon, and then 25 skills for the other 8 professions. At least, that's the most logical way to be spreading out the skills, that way, the Dervish/Paragon will have 100 skills just like the two factions characters.

Maybe they'll just add new skills to the professions from the directly previously released chapter, rather than for all of the previous chapter-specific professions... So, chapter 4 would bring nothing for As and Rit, (except perhaps a new armor set), but it would have new armor and skills for De and Pa. This would expand those classes's selections a little bit, without: a) making the amount of work unmanageable after a few more chapters and b) making it so that the newest professions always have the least skills, making the game somewhat unbalanced (exception for the core classes, which will always have the most skills).

As for armor, I think there will probably just be a "Elonian" armor set for ritualists and Assassins, and that will be it. Makes sense, since there will probably be no native Elonian As and Rit characters/monsters. You might still be able to craft Canthan, Tyrian, and Krytan armor for those professions in Elona (at the same NPCs that would craft such sets for the core classes), if the system in Factions is to be taken as a rule.

what you do is that you run a predictive trend, and then split up the numbers accordingly. If you base the numbers on the fact that all future specialist classes will have the same number of skills, then the nightfall characters should get 100 skills each, with the factions characters getting +25 each. That leaves... ooo

I worked it out wrong :P

OK...

75 skills will go to nightfall that's 150, to balance it with Factions. 200 left split across 10 classes... +20 skills each? That'll leave nightfall with 95 skills, Factions with 95 skills total and the core classes with +20 skills.

It'll be a different story however if they decide to do a perfect balance, so that the specialist classes have the same number of skills that the core clsses have, but even then, elementalists have the most skills than all other classes :P

True. Of course, energy cost factors in, as well; I suspect 10e. 15e sounds acceptable (since it'd be in line with arcane echo, still) if a bit too high, especially if it's meant to be used, as they have posted in their description, as a complement to inspired/revealed/thievery. Two skills worth of bar space, time and energy (OK, inspired/revealed would give back some energy and strip hex/enchant) just to cast one spell that doesn't belong to your class; sounds like a bad deal. Now, if you create a whole build around it, it can be good. Mesmers casting curses and spikes at skill lv16 on demand, and following up (or opening with) a lv16 illusion hex, gonna be even more effective than they already are in PvP. I hope it won't be the final nail of the ele's coffin, tho.

Of course, the skill can't be TOO good, or else it'll be unfair to mesmers who don't buy nightfall. Then again, this could be part of anet's sales strategy, he, he, he.

It's a signet. It won't cost energy. The only problem is that it might have a long activation time and/or long recharge, like most signets.

It's a signet, which means that it costs 0 energy. I suspect it'll have a heck of a recharge time, though.

Doesn't have to be used with skill-stealing skills either, it can be used to utilize a specific spell from your secondary, or even buff up a Domination or Inspiration spell.

The 2 skills talked about are just teasers - They give them ZOMGPWNZOR desps. on the site when in the game they wont probably be much to talk about. Its a good gameplan for them though, atleast teasing us with SOME stuff instead of their old plan of keeping everything locked up in a safe and saying "Just Wait, Buy It and You'll Love It!"

Heeeeey!! Wait a minute!

The picture of that female dervish that everyone though was "Morgahn."

The reason we thought that was because there was a picture from Leipzig that showed that dervish on the cover of the CE talking to.... Morgahn. Only then we didn't know which was which, the only clue was that the caption showed "Morgahn" speaking. However, she was referring to "Warmashal" as she spoke, so we assumed that the other person was the warmarshal.

But NOW, we have a picture of "Morgahn." And it's the same person that was in the picture. The one everyone thought was the warmarshal. So that means that HE (morgahn) was referring to the dervish as he spoke....

Warmarshal Varesh is the woman dervish on the cover of the CE?
